I am an MFA candidate in printmaking at Arizona State University. My thesis work involves creating images inspired by the Victorian practice of commemorating loss through acts of remembrance. My own life has been deeply etched by loss due to the death of my mother when I was eight. I find beauty in memorials whether they are deeply personal or completely public. Through my work I would like to encourage a dialogue about loss, death and remembrance. For Mac users this site is best viewed with the Safari browser.
